Bloomfield Bandits to hold baseball tryouts

The Bloomfield Bandits, the travel baseball division of the Bloomfield Babe Ruth League, will sponsor travel teams at the 13-, 14- 15- and high school levels this spring.
Travel teams will play in the Cerbo Spring Baseball League and/or the Montville Spring League. The Bloomfield Bandits won New 13, 13 and 14 travel titles last fall in the Cerbo Fall Baseball League and the Extra Innings East Hanover Fall League.  Free tryouts will be conducted at the following times and locations:
13-year-old level
Feb. 1 and 8, Berkeley School, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Feb. 9, Watsessing School, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
14- and 15-year-old level
Feb. 2, Watsessing School, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Feb. 8, Watsessing School, 8:15 to 9:30 p.m.
Feb. 14, Berkeley School, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
High school level
Feb. 7 and 16, Watsessing School, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The Bloomfield Babe Ruth League understands that in these trying economic times that youth sports expenses can be overwhelming. The league offers alternative opportunities for baseball tuition payment. Please feel free to call the league at 973-818-5797.
