OBITUARY -- Hildegard Lordi

    Hildegard E. Lordi (nee Illy), 87, formerly of Glen Ridge, died on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at home in Verona, N.J.
    Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral from the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield, N.J., on Monday. The Funeral Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. Interment was in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair, N.J.
    Born in Bronx, N.Y., Hildegard lived in Jersey City, N.J.; Ridgefield Park, N.J.; Glen Ridge for 40 years and the past five years in Verona.
    Mrs. Lordi as a homemaker. She was a graduate of Fordham University and a former president of the Women's Club of Bogota, N.J.; a former Girl Scout leader and a member of the Madrigal Dolls and the Sacred Heart Rosary Society.
      Hildegard was the wife of the late Peter G. Lordi for 61 years; mother of Greg Lordi of St. Regis Falls, N.Y., and Katherine (Karen) Lordi, Esq. of Bloomfield; grandmother of Todd S. Lordi and his wife, Violet, and sister of Maria C. Illy of Jersey City and the late Walter J. Illy. Express condolences at
